SkyWorld Introduces The First Of Its “Sustainable Community Living” Programme

City developer, SkyWorld Development Berhad (“SkyWorld” or the “Company”), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the management corporation of its completed SkyLuxe on the Park Residences, to provide an enhancement study to upgrade and optimise the development’s existing Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations as part of its first Sustainable Community Living programme.

The SkyWorld Sustainable Community Living programme is an effort by the company to provide additional value to elevate its homeowner’s SkyLiving experience post hand-over of the project. Beginning with SkyLuxe on the Park Residences, the Company will provide valuable research & development (R&D) on sustainable best practices in strata developments for the benefit of the residents.

According to Lee Chee Seng, Chief Executive Officer of SkyWorld Development Berhad, the Company believes that true value extends beyond the handover process.

“SkyWorld takes pride in offering a holistic SkyLiving experience to our homeowners even after the completion and handover stage. This MoU signing with Perbadanan Pengurusan Residensi SkyLuxe, the management corporation of SkyLuxe on the Park Residences, reflects our commitment to continuously raise the bar in elevating the standards of living for our residents,” he says.

SkyWorld’s Sustainable Community Living programme’s first initiative will begin with enhancement of EV charging stations and subsequently introduce other potential green upgrades including Solar Energy Panels, Artificial Intelligent (AI) Face Recognition System, Virtual Fencing, Autonomous Cleaning Robots, Car Plate Recognition Software, Sensor Lighting and more.

These initiatives are in line with SkyWorld’s commitment to environment, social, governance (ESG) principles. Following the success of this initiative at SkyLuxe on the Park Residences, SkyWorld will seek to extend the Sustainable Community Living programme across all its other completed developments.

Located in Bukit Jalil, SkyLuxe on the Park Residences commands a gross development value (GDV) of RM409.43 million. Built on 1.85 acres of freehold land, the development offers 477 units of apartments across two 40-storey towers. Unit built ups range between 661 sq.ft. and 1,224 sq.ft. with 6 unique layouts and an additional 50 sub-unit layouts to choose from. SkyLuxe on the Park Residences was completed in 2020 with a Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) score of 85%, the highest score achieved that year for the residential category.
