KUALA LUMPUR, 18 May 2023 – City developer SkyWorld Development Berhad (“SkyWorld” or the “Group”) has won four awards at the StarProperty Awards 2023 held at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, cementing its position as a formidable force in urban development. SkyWorld was recognised for their work and emerged the winner for:

• Ranked No. 1 in StarProperty ALL-STARS Award (non-listed company category)

• The Frontier Finder Award (Excellence) for SkyBlox @ SkySanctuary, Setapak

There are two exciting projects under the SkySanctuary master development that SkyWorld Group is proud of – SkyBlox and SAMA Square. A revolutionary concept, SkyBlox was created with sustainability in mind to becoming one of Malaysia’s first truly sustainable homes for urban dwellers. The strategy is to utilise the unutilised land temporarily for a period of 7 to 10 years while creating a vibrant living landmark before it is fully developed into a future permanent housing.

“SkyBlox is uniquely designed to address high rental issues within the city where it is able to provide affordable and flexible accommodations that are coupled with the latest facilities,” Lee adds.

SkyWorld sets itself high standards in pushing the sustainable envelope with SAMA Square, targeted to launch during Q3 of 2023. SAMA Square is expected to play a crucial role in creating vibrant and sustainable communities by providing a range of amenities and services that enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors. It serves as a gathering space for locals and multi-generational users, while focusing on unique experiences of Shop, Appetite, Market and Activities.

Architectural forms and streetscapes at SAMA Square create a contemporary urban space that helps drive economic development in Setapak, creating job opportunities, and contributing to the local economy, which in turn increases property values and the overall quality of life within the area.
