On 18 April 2017, SkyWorld indeed live up to its promise of delivering on its three strengths – value creation, innovation and Sky Living experience. Breaking new grounds at SkyArena Setapak, SkyWorld today announced the commencement of the FIRST Quality Centre by SkyWorld in Malaysia. The ground-breaking ceremony marked another important milestone for the emerging developer, as it grew from strength to strength and earned more vote of confidence as well as support from its purchasers and business associates.

Present to grace and officiate the momentous event, Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah, Minister of Works Malaysia said, “Indeed, SkyWorld is BREAKING NEW GROUNDS by kick-starting the FIRST Quality Centre by SkyWorld in Malaysia. I want to congratulate SkyWorld for embracing the professional quality practice and pledged their commitment by investing RM3.8 million into this 13,000 square feet Quality Centre. I encourage other developers to follow suit and help us in building a better nation and quality of life for our people.”

“I also understand that SkyWorld is one of the biggest contributors of Rumah Mampu Milik Wilayah Persekutuan (RUMAWIP) in Kuala Lumpur. RUMAHWIP, a government housing CSR programme which was founded to provide affordable homes for city dwellers. I am also proud to know that SkyWorld’s popular SkyAwani affordable home series will also be in compliance with the QLASSIC standards and that the Ministry of Works together with Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) will give the full support to SkyWorld in their quest to increase a higher quality standard.”

Also present to officiate the groundbreaking ceremony was YB Dato’ Ahmad Fauzi Bin Zahari, Ahli Parlimen Setiawangsa, Mr Lee Chee Seng, COO and Mr Siew Chee Seng, CFO of SkyWorld.

The SkyWorld Quality Centre is the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia and acts as a benchmark for quality construction for all SkyWorld developments. The centre signifies SkyWorld commitments to QLASSIC and CONQUAS quality assessment. SkyWorld will provide a showcase of quality workmanships such as the wall or floor evenness versus the uneven wall/floor surface. The SkyWorld Quality Centre will help you to identify quality shortcomings that you might not be able to identify visually. Short important notes will also be included, describing the quality requirements. This 13,000 square feet centre is earmarked for completion in September 2017 and boasts 10 functional areas such as the SkyWorld lounge, a mini auditorium that can seat 30 persons, a comprehensive show unit consisting of living room, bedroom, yard, balcony, corridor, staircase, kitchen and bathroom.
